Job Description
Job Title: Centro Evening Server
Reports to: Centro General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Takes customer food and non/alcoholic beverage orders and completes currency transactions while performing the following duties below. Other duties may be assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets guests with a pleasant smile and providing superior customer service.
- Sets tables according to type of event and service standards.
- Takes orders and answers questions/offer suggestions on menu selections.
- Records transaction in point-of-sale system at time of order.
- Checks in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverage.
- Presents accurate check to guest(s) and processes payment.
- Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
- Cleans and sets up tables/rooms.
- Completes all open/closing duties before clocking out.

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to conduct written or oral instructions. Ability to handle challenges involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Capability of learning or knowing how to use internet software programs that pertain to role.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit, taste, and smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), wet or humid conditions (non-weather), and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
