Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue for social events (weddings, parties, reunions, etc.).
    • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, event planners, and corporate clients.
    • Respond to inquiries from potential clients, providing detailed information about venue options, packages, and services.
    • Conduct site tours and present proposals to prospective clients.
    • Build and maintain relationships with local non-profits to organize fundraisers for their initiatives and the community.
    • Negotiate event contracts and finalize sales.
  • Event Coordination:
    • Work closely with the operations team to ensure the successful execution of events, from pre-planning to on-site coordination.
    • Collaborate with other hotel departments (catering, audiovisual, housekeeping) to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Manage the event booking process to ensure all details are accurately communicated and implemented.
  • Marketing & Promotion:
    • Assist in developing marketing materials and strategies to promote social events.
    • Manage online presence for social events, including social media accounts, ensuring consistent brand messaging.
    • Attend local networking events, wedding expos, and industry-related functions to enhance the hotel’s visibility and foster relationships.
  • Revenue & Budget Management:
    • Monitor and achieve sales targets to meet or exceed revenue goals.
    • Develop pricing strategies for social events and packages.
    • Track and report on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring they have a memorable experience.
    • Address any client concerns or issues and ensure that they are resolved promptly and effectively.
