C-Store Associate

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist customers and conduct sales transactions.
• Price and display merchandise.
• Assist with inventory as needed.
• Open C-Store and check cash drawer.
• Close out cash at end of shift, and return sales to vault.
• Advise C-Store Manager regarding customer requests.
• Clean fountain equipment, tables, bathroom and all customer areas.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous cash handling experience required.
• Previous retail sales experience preferred.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sales procedures.
• Knowledge of add-on sales.
• Detail-oriented.
• Math aptitude.

UNIVERSAL REQUIREMENTS

• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Mobility throughout the facility.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift 20 pounds.
