Bartender/Server

Position Description

We are looking for a customer service professional to join our new Dual Branded LaQuinta and Hawthorn Extended Stay Mount Laurel/Moorestown!

As a key member of the team, the Bartender/Server has influence and accountability for the day to day guest experience in the hotel. Reporting to the Operations Supervisors, the Bartender/Server will be responsible for maintaining the highest of customer service to help the property to achieve its business goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and display food items as needed each day (i.e., coffee, and other beverage items, hot buffet items, fruits, pastries, cereals, spreads, etc.)
• Prepare drinks following standard recipes and pours
• Follow all laws regarding serving and the sale of alcohol
• Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment
• Maintain close interaction with staff and guests to ensure guest satisfaction
• Prepare and serve food using safe food handling and storage guidelines
• Appropriately package any food items to be used the following day
• Inventory food and beverages supplies as needed each day
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred.
• Alcohol Safety training such as TIPS preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Reading and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays is required.
