Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, chairs, linens, silverware, glassware, etc.).
  • Serve food and beverages in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Follow proper sequence of service as outlined in training.
  • Clear plates, glassware, and other items in a timely and unobtrusive manner.
  • Assist with the breakdown and cleanup of banquet areas after events.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and event coordinators.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Provide excellent guest service, responding promptly to guest needs.
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  •  Previous experience in banquet or catering services is required
  •  Strong knowledge of food industry practices, including food handling and safety regulations
  •  Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively
  •  Exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  •  Strong communication skills to interact with clients, staff, and vendors effectively
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  •  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  •  Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization
