SUMMARY: The Food and Beverage - Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor is primarily responsible for leading and supervising the outlets team. S/He will promote a safe and welcoming working environment to achieve maximum guest satisfaction. The Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor will work with the Restaurant Manager and Food & Beverage Director to ensure maximum efficiency.

The Restaurant/Banquet Supervisor shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. S/he will be responsible for exemplifying the Hotels Culture and Core Hotels & Resorts Core Values.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Achieve customer satisfaction and compliance with policies/procedures in the Outlets
  • Train, coach and assist associates in the Food & Beverage operations
  • Monitor performance and recommend corrective action
  • Alert management of potentially serious issues
  • Respond to customer needs and rectify any guest issues
  • Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of the various outlets to ensure safe work environment
  • Oversee cash handling and check/credit policies and procedures
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of daily events
  • Promote teamwork and quality service
  • Routinely greet guests, serve food and beverage and service other outlets departments
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum of 2 years of employment in the F&B industry
  • Prior hotel experience a plus
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional guest-focus
  • Fluency in other languages beneficial

JOB REQUIRMENTS:

  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit, be able to read, write, and speak English and have exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Must be able to accurately follow instructions, both verbally and written
  • Must have basic computer skills, and have basic mathematical skill for report / forecast preparation and have strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivational, organizational and training skills
  • Must be alert to the customers needs and work well under pressure
  • Must be professional in appearance and demeanor
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to manage time effectively while working with minimal supervision.
