As our Associate Director of Sales you'll assist in leading the property's sales efforts, focusing on implementing sales strategies, achieving revenue goals, and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.
- Work with the sales leader to understand and effectively implement the sales strategy for specific segments (e.g., group, transient, association, corporate).
- Provide leadership to ensure maximum revenue potential, setting personal booking goals as an example.
- Approve space release for catering to maximize revenue, potentially in the absence of a Business Evaluation Manager.
- Analyze and report on sales and financial data to track performance and identify opportunities.
- Ensure exceptional customer service to drive guest loyalty and satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
- Assist in mentoring and training sales staff, potentially including recruitment and hiring.
- Assist in developing and implementing promotions, both internal and external, with a focus on attracting new business.
- Participate in sales calls with sales team members to acquire new business and/or close on business.
- Possess a deep understanding of the sales process, market trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Secure business through effective negotiation and creative selling skills.
- Achieve personal and team-related revenue goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and/or union requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other departments (e.g., Rooms, Food and Beverage) to maximize sales.
- 4 or more years of hotel sales experience.
- Prior DOS, ADOS, or Senior Sales experience required.
- Hilton experience preferred.
