We're looking for a truly welcoming Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to guide the Restaurant team in delivering a unique experience to our guests in the restaurant, bar, room service and banquets. With his or her sense of priorities and benevolence, he or she contributes to the positive atmosphere and management of the department's operations by performing a wide variety of tasks, including administrative and decision-making duties.
WHAT YOU'LL DOâ¯
- Support the Catering Manager in managing operations and supporting the department team in all activities.
- Lead and assist employees in ensuring quality service in the restaurant and bar, as well as for room service and banquets.
- Ensure the deployment of sales strategies and promotions in order to increase revenues.
- Ensure that food and beverage service is carried out in accordance with hotel policies, procedures and standards, as well as provincial laws and regulations.
- Supervise employee training, including product knowledge, such as food and wine pairing.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Hotel or tourism training an asset
- 3 to 6 years management or supervisory experience
- Proven ability to multi-task
- Calm attitude even under pressure
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills

The annual salary for this role is between $56,322 and $70,402, depending on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
