Job Summary

Under the guidance of the Reservations Manager, the Reservations & Distribution Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s room inventory to ensure accurate inventory, rates and content across booking channels.  

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Manage guest room distribution across all direct and indirect booking channels to optimize availability and revenue performance.
  • Demonstrate advanced proficiency in reservation and revenue systems, including Reserve, Opera Cloud, Rate Management tools, Envision, iDeaS, Demand 360, Revenue 360, and Agency 360.
  • Monitor room inventory, rates, and availability to ensure accuracy, rate parity, and alignment across all distribution platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with Revenue Management to implement pricing strategies, promotions, restrictions, and demand-based adjustments.
  • Identify and resolve distribution discrepancies, overbookings, and system-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Liaise with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office teams to troubleshoot operational or distribution challenges as needed.
  • Ensure full compliance with brand standards, rate integrity guidelines, and contractual agreements with distribution partners.
  • Support new channel onboarding, system enhancements, audits, and distribution-related projects.
  • Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports covering occupancy, channel mix, and revenue performance.
  • Manage and follow up on service tickets with Hyatt Commercial teams related to revenue and distribution matters.
  • Oversee transient and group reservations, completing all required transient and group checklists when necessary.
  • Apply strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and attention to detail to support data-driven decision-making and problem resolution.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years front desk, reservations experience in a Hotel or related industry; experience within a luxury hotel environment is a plus.
  •  Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of guests in a professional and cordial manner.  
  • The Distribution Coordinator will have a pleasant telephone voice, exceptional organizational/problem solving skills, must be self-motivated and very detail oriented. 
  • This position requires someone who is computer literate with MS office applications and preferably the following hospitality programs – Opera. 
  • Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
