Accounts Payable

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position provides an opportunity to get involved in other aspects of finance operations, and gain insights into the world of luxury hospitality with a world-renowned brand. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing:
• Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Enter invoices into the accounting system.
• Payment Processing:
• Prepare and process payments to vendors.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
• Maintain vendor records and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Record Keeping:
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Reconcile vendor statements.
• Maintain a healthy and positive working relationship with our vendors.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Other Duties:
• Effectively communicate with other departments in AP-related enquiries.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required.
• Opportunity to be involved in all aspects of accounting and finance, as part of a small but efficient team.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or related field preferably in hospitality.
• Skills:
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to learn and adopt to new or changing tasks, with an interest to gain a broader understanding of finance operations over time.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Good numerical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
