Maintains and prepares wardrobe inventories and reports by assembling and compiling data, verifying received orders, reporting inventory levels to the wardrobe manager.
Conducts wardrobe operations by issuing uniform items, making minor repairs to uniform items, sorting laundry, putting away returned laundry, accounting for new uniform items and adding them to the inventory.
Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting materials and uniform items, measuring and fitting employees, preparing the machines and equipment.
Ensures operation of equipment by enforcing preventive maintenance policies, applying manufacturer’s instruction, trouble shooting malfunctions, evaluating new equipment or technologies, recommending purchases or replacements.
Complies with federal, state and local legal requirements by enforcing adherence to safety requirements, advising management on any needed actions.
Helps to ensure teamwork by completing various tasks that may be requested by your supervisor.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain appropriate non-support UMUGC license.
Experience with sewing equipment desired.
Computer knowledge in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Knowledge of manual record keeping system.
Basic high school mathematics required for uniform measurement and alterations.
