The Opportunity:

The Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale is looking for a Valet/Public Area Attendant who can be an integral part of the Housekeeping and Laundry Team. This position is collectively responsible for the presentation of the lobby and public areas.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Keeps all public areas neat, vacuumed, dusted and sanitized. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free.  Removes all trash from areas

• Periodically checks Lobby Restrooms.  Makes sure all surfaces are sanitized. Restocks all supplies including toilet paper, soap and hand towels.
• Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby.  Answer guests’ questions and direct them to the areas they desire to be in.
• Sorts employee uniforms and guests’ garments and appropriately logs and processes accordingly to Four Seasons guidelines.
• Operates and maintains washer, dryer, dry cleaning machine, presser and iron.  Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager;
• Assists the Director/Assistant Director of Housekeeping in maintaining proper uniform, Rooms, and F&B linen par stock and processing regular uniforms, room and F&B linen inventories.
• Process and deliver accurately and timely guest’s laundry and dry cleaning.
• Account for all uniforms by storing and organizing properly with an accurate record keeping system.
• Keep the uniform room and laundry area clean and tidy.
• Uniform pressing as needed

Who We Look For:

The ideal candidate will have;

• Experience working in dry cleaning or laundry (preferably in a hotel/resort)
• Knowledge of cleaning products and how to use industrial laundry machinery
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally throughout shift.
• Ability to read, write, and speak professional English and converse with guests as necessary
• The ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift
• Flexible schedule including ability to work weekends and holidays occasionally.
