Principal Responsibilities
  • Proper disposal of garbage
  • Keep all refrigeration, storage, and working areas clean and in good working condition to comply with Health Department regulations
  • Performs any general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor
  • Pick up cleaning supplies such as cleaning rags from the Laundry Department.
  • Assist in the transportation of banquet food and BQT set-ups.
  • Safe and effective use of equipment.
  • Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
  • Be fully aware of fire and emergency procedures and your role therein.
  • Supply and maintain recycling and food bin.
  • Control the use of dishwashing equipment, feed detergents and checks temperature controls 
  • Follow Chelsea grooming and uniform policy
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Management

  • Answer any guest or employee questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest and employee satisfaction.

Academic and Working Qualifications

Education
 Successful completion of High school
 FOODSAFE Level 1 and WHIMIS certificate would be considered an asset

Language
 Good command of the English language both written and oral.


Physical Requirements
 Able to meet physical demands of the position, including standing for long period of
