As Assistant Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will play a vital role in shaping our teams by driving our global recruitment strategy. This role is about more than just filling positions, it's about helping us identify and recruit the right people to take the company to the next level.
From talent mapping and proactive pipeline development to headhunting for niche and high-impact roles, you’ll help build exceptional teams across our corporate offices, properties, and new expansions. You’ll also oversee key recruitment systems and tools, ensuring a seamless hiring process and an outstanding candidate experience.
Beyond recruitment, you’ll champion our employer brand and EVP, strengthening our presence in key markets. You’ll also nurture relationships with schools and universities, helping us develop the next generation of hospitality leaders through management trainee programs and strategic partnerships.
Based at our Bangkok HQ, this role is global in scope, but primarily supports our teams across Asia and the Middle East, Africa, offering an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on talent acquisition at Minor Hotels.
Key responsibilities include:
Execution of recruitment efforts across various levels and functions, with a focus on corporate, global and regional roles.
Development of proactive talent pipelines for key positions and business-critical functions.
Supporting hiring managers in defining role requirements and implementing best-in-class hiring processes.
Conducting market mapping and talent research to identify and engage high-potential candidates.
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
Functioning as a Subject Matter Expert on Talent Acquisition and collaborate with People & Culture teams globally to drive consistent and effective Recruitment and TA Strategies.
Systems & Process Management
Management and optimization of recruitment systems and tools to enhance efficiency and reporting capabilities.
Ensuring the integrity of recruitment data, providing insights and analytics to drive decision-making.
Working closely with ATS, HRIS and technology teams to implement system enhancements and improvements.
Employer Branding & Talent Engagement
Leading and supporting employer branding initiatives to position Minor Hotels as an employer of choice.
Partnering with marketing and communications teams to enhance recruitment messaging and outreach.
Managing and expand school relationship programs with relevant top tier schools, fostering partnerships to attract emerging talent.
Supporting the execution of the Ascent management trainee program, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
Developing and implement initiatives to engage external and internal talent communities.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Working closely with regional and corporate HR teams to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
Acting as a liaison between Minor Hotels and external recruitment partners, universities, and industry networks.
Supporting global mobility initiatives, ensuring seamless transitions for international hires and internal transfers.
Contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition and recruitment.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field.
3+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related HR function with exposure to recruitment. Experience recruiting globally and across a broad range of roles will be a definite plus.
Experience working in a multinational environment; experience within hospitality a plus.
Knowledgeable and experienced with various recruitment tools, applicant tracking systems, and employer branding strategies.
Excellent internal and external stakeholder relationship management and ability to influence and build connections across diverse cultures.
Proactive, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Native or near fluent level verbal and written communications skills in English; Thai a plus, any additional languages a bonus.
