Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our Industrial Automation & Manufacturing and Retail division in Markham, ON. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts by delivering tailored automation, safety, and performance solutions.

This role is critical in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth within an assigned portfolio of manufacturing clients across Ontario and Eastern Canada.



Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for key strategic manufacturing accounts.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer goals and Honeywell’s value proposition.
  • Drive revenue growth through new solution adoption, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, customer success, operations) to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Understand customer processes, pain points, and KPIs to provide tailored Honeywell solutions (e.g., IIoT, automation systems, safety solutions, process efficiencies).
  • Track and manage pipeline opportunities using CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and proposal development.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity within the manufacturing space.
  • Mentor junior account team members and share best practices to strengthen the broader sales organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • College diploma or greater in Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in account management or technical sales within manufacturing, warehousing, retail, transportation and logistics, industrial automation, or related industries.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing environments (e.g., discrete, process, heavy industry).
  • Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to link technical solutions to business outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Honeywell’s product lines or competitive industrial solutions (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider).
  • Understanding of IIoT, SCADA, MES, DCS, or other automation platforms.
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • PMP or technical certifications are a plus.
