Summary:
The primary purpose of the Warehouse lead position is to oversee and manage the shipping and receiving department operations.
1st Shift: This position will be at our Johnson Lake location. 250 Johnson Lake Blvd. Adairsville, GA
Essential Functions:
Lead all components of safety, health, and environmental programs to achieve and maintain zero incidents and injuries.
Conducting group meetings with all members of the shift every day at the beginning of the shift
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Coordinate and prioritize incoming/outgoing shipments
Utilize warehouse management systems
Monito and optimize receiving process to improve efficiency
Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or manager and/or Human Resources
Supervise and train other employees
Monitor Weekly Dock Audits
Monitor Daily SMAT Audits
This position will required flexible working hours, including overtime, and also help cover shifts during vacation and call-offs.
Assist in keeping work areas in a clean orderly manner.
Prepare BOLs
Prepare Pick Docs
Close and manage Jobs
Update Shipping Board
Have close communication and follow up with carriers
Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all safety regulations, conducting regular safety inspections, and promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees.
Any other duties requested by supervisor.

Motivated, Mature, and Professional work attitude.
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to work in a close team environment, not only with his/her department but also with any other department.
Pay attention to details
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions.
Forklift Experience Required.
