Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel

Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, is looking for a Server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned hotels. The Server reports to The BLVD General Manager. Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities

THEBlvd Server is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. Responsibilities include;

• Deliver food orders including any special needs or requests to the guest in-room, check completed kitchen orders with the order taker or guest’s original order; transport items to the guestroom in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.  
• Greet guests, describe selected items to the guest using interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to request for tray removal according to established time standards.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests. 
• Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals. 
• Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table; maintain knowledge of each selection’s, origin, taste, and preparation method; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the Management and/or kitchen; check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order; transport items to the guest table in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.  
• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. 
• The ability to offer guests an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience conforming to Four Seasons standards of excellence, food quality, professionalism, and friendliness equal to that of the finest restaurant in the city.
• Also will comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Food and Beverage duties

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals who have a minimum of 2 years food service or related work.  Speaking, writing and reading English is required. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends.

Hourly Rate: $16.50
