My Guest

• Greet guests and take orders for food and beverages from guests in accordance with Langham brand standards and relative legislation. 
• Take food and beverage orders from guests using the point of sale system (POS).
• Speedy and accurate service of food and beverages to guests with necessary accompaniments.
• Timely presentation of guest checks for payment.
• Accurate posting of charges to guest accounts.
• Answer any guest questions or direct them to another colleague who can assist them, always ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Conducts him/herself with a pleasant and helpful attitude towards guests, colleagues and managers. 

My Product

• Preparation of bar for service. Duties to include ensuring cleanliness and the setting of tables with condiments, cutlery, side plates, menus and promotional material..
• Order all drinks from Bartenders through POS.
• Picking up food orders from the kitchen 
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar/dining area.
• Adherence to AGCO liquor licensing regulations at all times.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe working environment at all times.
• Maintain efficient working usage of the Micros system and ensure that all orders are inputted into the system at the time of the order
• Complete full closing procedures and morning set-up.

• Replenish service items in readiness for next shift, including cutlery, roll-ups and resetting tables.

• Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS.
• Ensure correct cash and credit card handling when closing out guest checks. 
• Daily reconciliation of cash receipts to sales receipt for deposit to the General Cashier.
• Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Nametag must be visible at all times. 
• Comply with Hotel and Company policies and procedures. 
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Academic and Working Qualifications

Working Experience 

· Previous experience in a similar size establishment. 

· Previous Guest Service experience.

Knowledge

 · Good knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails

.
Education

 · Must possess Smart Serve.

Soft Skills 

· Efficient and quick to learn. 

· Pleasant attitude, outgoing personality.

 · Good organizational and multitasking skills.

Languages 

· Excellent communication skills in the English language (Written and Verbal).
 

Physical Requirements

 · Able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
