The Senior Room Attendant is responsible for the immaculate upkeep and cleanliness of guest rooms, guest floors corridor thereby presenting a clean and welcoming environment of guest to the rooms.
Primary Responsibilities
Providing a clean and comfortable rooms to our guest
- Promotes a positive and inviting image of the property by ensuring guestroom and guest floors corridors are immaculately clean and comfortable. This is achieved through cleaning and setting up the public areas in accordance with the property’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ensures the smooth running of the Housekeeping section by performing all tasks in adherence with the code of ethics.
- Effectively communicates with Housekeeping Supervisor on issues, challenges or abnormalities encountered in the course of duty.
- Ensures all assigned rooms are completed.
- Ensures section corridor carpets are vacuumed daily after rooms cleaning.
- Ensure clean and stock up cleaning trolley.
- Ensure scheduled deep cleaning task are completed at the given time frame.
- Ensure guest privacy are respected.
Creates a welcoming experience that meets guests’ expectations
- Ensures guests receive the experience as detailed in brand SOP, local SOP as well as Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards and aims to achieve the targets set by management.
- Upholds a flawless impression and perception of the property’s products, services and colleagues.
- Observes and anticipates guest’s needs in a discreet and non-intrusive manner, offering prompt, efficient and personalized service to our residents.
- Ensures observed preferences of guest are communicated with the Manager for follow up and recording in guest profile
