A well-established, premium restaurant located in Kyalami is seeking a Senior Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead a strong front- and back-of-house team. The restaurant is known for its high service standards, consistent quality and loyal customer base. The ideal candidate will bring solid operational knowledge, financial acumen, and a structured approach to team management and service delivery.


Requirements
  • Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in a restaurant management or senior supervisory role within a high-volume or full-service establishment.
  • Hands-on experience with GAAP or Dawn Plan POS systems.
  • Strong Excel capability for reporting, costing, and performance tracking.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 20+ employees.
  • Knowledge of stock control, cost management, and cash-up procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills with attention to operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all daily restaurant operations to maintain service and quality standards.
  • Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen teams to meet performance objectives.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock rotation, and supplier coordination to achieve budgeted cost targets.
  • ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food-handling regulations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including sales, labour, and cost of goods.
  • Work closely with ownership to implement business strategies and operational improvements
