Description

The position of the Senior Manager, Procurement Business Partner (PBP) position is the trusted advisor and PBP for the Human Resources Services team.  This seasoned professional is a key member of the client’s extended leadership team.   This position ensures alignment between procurement strategies and business objectives, enabling efficient resource management while delivering value to the organization.  The incumbent is the third leg in the “three-legged stool” for business partnering along with Legal and Finance.  Serves as supplier relationship segmentation architect and framework leader with client business unit. 

Your day to day

Client collaboration: Actively work with HR Services senior leadership team to shape strategic priorities including critical scope sourcing decision such as make vs. buy.  Represent Procurement as key member of the extended leadership team and viewed as thought leader regarding third-party market developments and supplier-related innovation.  Conducts Procurement-related training (policies, best practices, etc.) for compliance and continuous improvement. 

Supplier Segmentation Architect:  Serves as chief supplier relationship segmentation architect and framework implementation leader within client business unit.  Based on the Supplier relationship management framework (SRM), leads the implementation of the various supplier treatments and subsequent expectations.  Elevates IHG strategic supplier relationships for mutually-beneficial relationships. Works with clients to define relevant supplier KPIs for scorecards.  Provide structure and key inputs into Supplier Business Unit reviews.

Drives Finance and Legal Alignment: Along with Finance and Legal, ensure proper budget approval, contract approval and contract signature authority.   Serves as a cross-functional bridge while identifying risk with effective mitigations.  Works with Finance to identify potential budget under-runs and over-runs to balance the portfolio. 

Leads strategic sourcing initiatives and partners with business for spend optimization:  leads (delegates to Sourcing Operations or manages directly for complex) sourcing and negotiations activities by engaging with internal clients, suppliers and other stakeholders.  Use spend cube analytics and competitive benchmarking to identify value creation:  cost savings, demand consolidation, and improved ways of working.  Seeks to identify revenue creation for hotels in supplier agreements.

Travel - limited for this role

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in the ATLANTA office.  This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

The salary for this role is $58,844 to $130,000.  This role is also eligible for bonus pay.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits for employees.
