Job Description

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure overall safety and security of hotel guests, colleagues, and premises through vigilant patrols and monitoring of surveillance equipment
• Act as a member of the Emergency Response Team, responding to fires, accidents, and medical emergencies (First Aid/CPR)
• Investigate and report violations of law or hotel policy, accidents, complaints, and criminal activity
• Conduct regular security floor patrols, cash counts, and crowd control as needed
• Assist guests with information about hotel facilities and provide escorts when required
• Perform traffic management for vehicles entering and exiting the property
• Maintain accurate logs and complete required forms for all security-related activities
• Conduct searches of employee property, vehicles, or designated areas to prevent pilferage and ensure compliance with hotel policies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Security role required
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications required
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure
• Ability to focus on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Basic math skills and good oral and written communication skills
• Professional presentation and ability to work cohesively in a team

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Police Certificate of Character
• Security License
