What will the role involve?

As a Commis Chef in a luxury hotel, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences by working with fresh, high-quality ingredients to produce refined dishes for both the hotel and its fine dining restaurant. This hands-on role goes far beyond basic food preparation, offering the opportunity to develop lifelong culinary skills while working as part of a dynamic, professional kitchen team where no two days are the same. You will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and able to operate confidently within strict food hygiene standards, with prior kitchen experience in a quality-driven hotel, restaurant, or hospitality environment. A flexible and proactive approach is essential, as you will support different areas of the kitchen in line with business and guest needs, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence to anticipate guest expectations.

This is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, which may vary depending on business.
