We’re seeking an experienced Safety Officer with at least 5 years’ experience in a processing plant environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12
- SAMTRAC qualification (essential)
- Additional Safety Management courses or certifications will be an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of and compliance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Reporting directly to the Site Manager
- Conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Managing incident and accident investigations
- Preparing and maintaining all safety reports and documentation
- Ensuring ongoing compliance and monitoring of safety standards
