Mile Marker One is a restaurant serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and is open year-round. We're set on a beautiful marina. We have indoor dining and igloo dining. In the late spring, the Bridge Deck opens for a beautiful outdoor deck experience. The servers and bartenders are dedicated to making sure every guest has a wonderful time. We have live music sometimes with dinner. Wine tasting dinners and more. Currently we are open 5 days a week, but in the late spring we open 7 days a week. Mile Marker One is a fun friendly restaurant featuring amazing scallops, oysters, seafood and more! Everything from our burger to our lobster roll is incredibly delicious. In the Summer and Fall, we are very fast paced. In the Winter and Spring, we feature amazing food and wine pairing dinners, tequila dinners, and more. We host corporate events, rehearsal dinners, private and semi-private dining both in our restaurant and event space.
We are attached to a hotel as well with an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi.
This position is full time and year-round.
Restaurant Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities:
- Supervise servers, server assists, food runners, bartenders and hosts on assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and mentor staff to provide provide unforgettable experiences
- Assist with live musician set up
- Lead servers to make room for large group dining
- Handle customer complaints along with the management team and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Expedite food as needed and assure quality control on to go and delivery orders
- Monitor and maintain restaurant cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Provide management with inventory pars to assist in ordering
- Assists the restaurant and host staff in answering the phone and taking reservations
- Open or close the restaurant as needed according to a rotating schedule
- Make shift notes of what occurred during dining service
- Prepare closing or opening paperwork as assigned
- Along with restaurant and management staff assist in the carrying out of events including set up and break down
Requirements:
- 2-3 years proven experience as supervisor in a restaurant
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work a 40-50 hour work week, flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of restaurant POS software
- 1-3 years restaurant server or bartender experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
