Location: La Colline at Hillside Boutique Hotel, Castroville, TX


Job Description:

The Hillside Boutique Hotel is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a vibrant hotel environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while serving a variety of food and beverages.


Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

- Engage with guests to provide a memorable experience, including recommending drinks and answering questions

- Handle cash and process payments accurately

- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent service

- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

- Stay updated on drink trends and menu changes


Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous restaurant server experience preferred

- Knowledge of mixology, wine and beverage preparation techniques

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality

- Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications

Requirements

Education/Formal Training:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality management preferred.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role preferred.
  • Familiarity with property management systems is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing outstanding service.
  • Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office and reservation software.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to travel to The Springs Resort & Spa.
