By the Sea Resorts is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-volume operation with full accountability for performance, culture, and results. This is a true GM role—not a head server or schedule manager position. The right leader will own the business as if it were their own.
This role is best suited for a proven operator who values standards, people development, and disciplined execution—and who wants the authority to make meaningful decisions.
As General Manager, you will have full responsibility for:
P&L performance including revenue growth, labor optimization, and controllable expenses
Building and sustaining a strong culture rooted in accountability, professionalism, and guest-first thinking
Leading and developing your management team, with a clear succession and bench strategy
Driving revenue through menu execution, upselling systems, local marketing initiatives, and operational excellence
Maintaining brand and operational standards while adapting to local market dynamics
You will partner closely with senior leadership and have the autonomy to run the business within clearly defined expectations.
Within the first 12–18 months, success in this role means:
Consistent execution of service and operational standards
A stable, engaged management team with clear accountability
Strong guest satisfaction scores and repeat business
Controlled labor and operating costs aligned with budget
Sustainable revenue growth without burnout or chaos
We are looking for a seasoned restaurant operator, not someone learning the role.
Required experience:
5+ years as a Restaurant General Manager or equivalent senior leadership role
Direct ownership of a restaurant P&L
Experience leading high-volume operations
Proven ability to develop managers and retain strong teams
Demonstrated success balancing culture, service, and financial performance
Preferred experience:
Multi-outlet or complex operations
Turnaround or stabilization experience
Revenue-focused leadership (not just cost control)
Competitive base salary, based upon experience
Clear authority and decision-making autonomy
Support from experienced operations and corporate leadership
Realistic expectations and sustainable schedules
An environment that values disciplined operators who lead with integrity
This is not a micromanaged role. It is an opportunity for a confident GM to run a business, build a team, and deliver results.
This role is for leaders who:
Hold themselves and others to high standards
Lead from the floor, not the office alone
Understand both people and numbers
Want ownership, not excuses
This role is not for:
First-time GMs
Managers who avoid accountability
Leaders looking for minimal oversight with minimal responsibility
