Job Description

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Sofitel London St James Team as a Reservations Supervisor. This is an exciting role for a talented individual who is looking for a new challenge and wants to join a high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service. Responsibilities:

Lead and motivate the team to ensure exceptional customer service and efficient handling of reservation inquiries.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, including managing room availability, rates, and special requests.

- Conduct training sessions for reservation agents to enhance their skills and ensure a high standard of service delivery.

- Interact with guests to assist with reservation inquiries, provide information about the hotel's offerings, and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.

- Work closely with other departments, such as Front Office and Sales, to optimise room inventory, maximise revenue, and enhance the overall guest experience.

- Generate and analyse reservation reports to identify trends, monitor performance, and implement strategies for improvement.

Qualifications

- Entitlement to work in the UK is mandatory for this position.

- Being fluent in French is a strong skill for this role.

- Technical knowledge of hotel booking systems, including Opera.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A high standard of personal presentation with confident, professional and welcoming personality.

- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
