We are actively searching for a Full-Time Server
Position Summary
The Server is responsible for providing elevated, anticipatory service in a fine-dining environment. This role ensures an exceptional guest journey—from greeting and menu guidance to precise order execution, course pacing, and payment—while upholding brand standards and luxury service etiquette.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver gracious, professional, and intuitive service consistent with luxury standards
- Greet, seat (as needed), and engage guests with genuine hospitality and product expertise
- Present menus, describe daily features, tasting menus, and chef-driven specials with confidence
- Provide informed recommendations on wine, cocktails, and pairings; upsell thoughtfully
- Input and manage orders accurately; coordinate timing with kitchen and bar to pace courses
- Perform tableside service where applicable
- Maintain detailed knowledge of menu ingredients, sourcing, dietary restrictions, and allergens; communicate guest needs clearly to culinary team
- Monitor guest satisfaction proactively; resolve concerns or escalate appropriately
- Execute opening, shift, and closing duties including side work, station setup, polishing, and cleaning
- Ensure accuracy of checks, handle payments, and follow cash/charge procedures
- Maintain immaculate table settings, service stations, and floor presentation
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards (local codes, HACCP, ServSafe)
- Support private dining, in-room dining liaison, and special events as needed
- Uphold hotel and brand grooming, uniform, and professional conduct standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of fine-dining or luxury hotel restaurant serving experience required
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and seasonal menus
- Wine and beverage knowledge; familiarity with pairings and classic cocktails
- Excellent communication, poise, and guest recovery skills
- Comfortable using POS systems and handling multi-course pacing
- Detail-oriented, organized, and calm under pressure
- Team-first mindset and commitment to service excellence
- Certifications a plus: ServSafe Food Handler/Manager, TIPS/Responsible Beverage Service, WSET/CMS Level 1+
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods; lift/carry up to 25–30 lbs; frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and carry trays safely
