About the role:

As the Pool & Beach Supervisor, you will supervise and participate in providing exceptional guest service at the pool and beach areas. The Supervisor trains, evaluates, leads, motivates, and coaches employees to ensure that established standards are met while creating a safe, engaging, and memorable experience for all guests.

What you will do:

  • Oversee daily operation of Pool & Beach department and assign duties. Assist in selecting training, evaluating, leading, motivating, coaching, and disciplining all employees in the Pool & Beach Department.
  • Ensure all pool and beach areas are well-organized, clean, and fully stocked with towels, amenities, and supplies.
  • Assist the Pool & Beach Management team with labor management, scheduling, and providing daily operational reports.
  • Supervise guest seating and cabana arrangements, ensuring smooth service flow and maximizing guest comfort.
  • Monitor poolside and beachside service orders, ensuring prompt delivery of food and beverages and clear communication with the kitchen and bar teams.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, special requests, and service needs, handling any challenges with professionalism and care.
  • Oversee safety protocols including pool rules, weather monitoring, and guest well-being, coordinating with Security and Engineering as needed.
  • Support the organization of special events, activations, and private functions at the pool and beach.

What you bring:

  • 2 + years of proven experience in Food & Beverage operations service, or similar role in a recreational or hospitality environment. Experience in a luxury resort setting or a similar high-end environment is considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Position requires continuous standing for 8 or more hours a day and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish is preferred.
