This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned leader with a deep understanding of PGM and Cr₂O₃ processing to drive innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering
- 2.6.1 Appointment (as per MHSA requirements)
- +10 years’ experience in mineral processing plants, preferably with PGMs and Cr₂O₃
- At least 5 years’ management experience in a processing plant environment
- Proven experience in Safety Management and regulatory compliance
- Strong leadership in managing cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, General)
- Excellent client interfacing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Overall management and optimisation of plant production
- Lead and align engineering, operations, and support teams
- Ensure compliance with MHSA, environmental and safety legislation
- Oversee plant performance, cost control, and continuous improvement
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and reporting structures
