Job Summary:
A Placement Manager at Placement International oversees the successful matching of candidates with hospitality and tourism opportunities worldwide. You will be responsible for managing the entire placement process, from assessing client and candidate needs to coordinating interviews and facilitating onboarding. The role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with partner companies, understanding market trends, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The Placement Manager also collaborates with internal teams to enhance program offerings and works to continuously improve the placement experience for all stakeholders.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a managerial role in recruitment, placement coordination, hospitality, within the hospitality industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop individuals professionally.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills; able to manage high-stakes interactions with clients and candidates.
Organization and Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks.

Oversee Placement Processes:
Manage the entire placement cycle, from initial client engagement to final intern or trainee placement, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Match candidates with relevant program opportunities based on their qualifications, skills, and preferences, ensuring the best fit for both candidates and clients.
Track and monitor candidate progress throughout the process, identifying any potential issues or delays and resolving them efficiently.
Candidate Support and Relationship Management:
Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the placement process, from application and interview preparation to onboarding.
Guide candidates through the entire process, from application submission to placement and payments, providing support with interviews.
Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, answering questions and providing guidance throughout the registration and placement process.
Conduct regular check-ins with candidates to ensure satisfaction and address any issues that may arise during the placement period.
Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring they are informed about the status of their applications and next steps in the process.
School Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitality, culinary, and tourism schools, universities, and other educational institutions to ensure a consistent flow of talent.
Identify new educational institutions that align with the company’s talent needs and establish partnerships to create a pipeline for future candidates.
Coordinate with schools to stay up to date with program offerings, academic schedules, and graduation timelines, ensuring that the company has access to the best candidates.
Organize and participate in recruitment events (e.g., career fairs, campus presentations) to showcase the company’s programs and attract top talent from schools.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and support the placement team, setting goals, monitoring performance, and ensuring high levels of service and productivity.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:
Ensure that all placements meet the company's standards for quality and compliance, addressing any issues that may arise with host companies or candidates.
Monitor and evaluate the candidate registration and placement process to ensure it is efficient, streamlined, and aligned with company standards.
Gather feedback from candidates and schools to continuously improve the recruitment and placement experience.
Identify opportunities for process improvements that can enhance the overall experience for candidates, schools, and internal teams.
Database Management:
Maintain accurate records of client and candidate interactions, updating the company’s placement database regularly.
Ensure that all placement records and candidate information are up to date and compliant with company policies and standards.
Reporting and Analysis:
Monitor placement metrics and prepare reports on performance, making recommendations for process improvements.
Provide regular updates on candidate progress and placement statistics to leadership and other internal teams to inform decision-making and strategy.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure that all placements comply with visa regulations, labor laws, and company policies, and manage necessary documentation efficiently.
Oversee the candidate registration process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote programs and generate leads for new placements.
Assist in the development of recruitment strategies, providing insights from candidate and school feedback to improve recruitment processes and enhance program offerings.
Event Coordination and Networking:
Coordinate the planning and execution of recruitment events, such as campus visits, career fairs, and webinars, to build the company’s brand and attract new talent.
Engage with schools and candidates during events to foster strong relationships and ensure a positive experience.
Represent the company at networking events and industry conferences to build relationships with key stakeholders in the education and hospitality sectors.
