Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/span>

  • Prepare and design a wide variety of high -quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods for the restaurant menu.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Develop innovative pastry and dessert options for seasonal menus and special events.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Create and modify recipes to suit customer preferences, dietary restrictions, or feedback.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Ensure proper FIFO procedures for food storage and rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Maintain consistency in taste, appearance, portion control, and presentation standards.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Oversee ingredient quality and proper handling of all baked goods.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef on special menus for events, promotions, and seasonal changes.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Manage inventory of pastry ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and controlling costs.
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Participate in monthly inventory counts and maintain accurate stock documentation.
    <\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a 5 -star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Matric Certificate.
      <\/span><\/li>
    • Diploma or certification in Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>
