As a server, you are responsible for creating unmatched experiences by engaging guests, navigating menu offerings, capitalizing on upselling opportunities and delivering an unrivaled service experience. You are vital to creating a successful dining experience for each guest.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age to mix and serve cocktails and cover bartending
Previous experience as server in a similar restaurant environment strongly preferred
Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
Working knowledge of dining and beverage service procedures
Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
Must currently possess and maintain the necessary State Food Handler’s License(s) and Liquor Serving Permit(s) – or the ability to acquire within state mandated time frame upon hire.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) in English
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Takes orders, noting any dietary/allergy restrictions and serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with established standards
Greets and seats guest, providing a welcoming dining experience
Maintains current knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including menu changes and sold-out items
Enters orders into computerized Point of Sale system and communicates any special requests to the culinary team
Assembles food items, such as appetizers, salads and soups
Ensures attractive, consistent presentation of food and beverages.
Ensures that all food and beverage items are served at the correct temperature
Processes guest payments, using proper accounting and cash handling procedures
Keeps work area, including guest dining area, clean and organized. This includes, but is not limited to: cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, washing) all areas as part of pre-opening and closing duties
Supports all other pre-opening and closing duties, including set up of dining area, cleaning & sanitizing, review of reservations and specials, clearing & resetting stables, restocking supplies, securing equipment, cash reconciliation, and final area inspection
Stocks and prepares stations, including refilling condiments, napkins, silverware, glassware and side stations.
Food preparation and handling as needed
Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned by management to support departmental and organizational goals.
