ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee hotel operations during the night shift
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily financial reports
• Verify and reconcile all guest accounts and room charges
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Monitor and maintain the safety and security of the property
• Train and supervise night audit staff members
• Follow and enforce all hotel policies and procedures
• Assist with guest inquiries and complaints as needed
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.

As a Night Audit Supervisor, you're responsible for overseeing the nightly accounting functions of the hotel. A Night Audit Supervisor entails conducting a thorough audit of daily transactions and financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports for management. You'll supervise and train night auditors, ensure accuracy of room rates, billings, and other guest charges, ensuring compliance with hotel policies and procedures, and improve cash flow management of the hotel.

​You must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills to be successful in this role. A background in accounting or finance is preferred. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills to be able to work with other departments, such as Housekeeping, Accounting, and Sales. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment, so you should be able to manage high levels of stress and prioritize tasks effectively. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for numbers, and exceptional leadership skills.
