Responsibilities
Assist the Front Office Manager with maintaining standards of guest service quality, and keeps staff informed of new policies and procedures
Assist with initial training of new night audit employees and and ongoing performance checks and support to all night audit staff
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner
Accommodate all guest requests in an accurate and efficient manner
Respond promptly to any guest inquiries or complaints and offer an alternate solution if guest demand cannot be met
Document any guest accidents by completing the accident report form
Accurately conduct all cash handling and credit card processing activities
Accurately, audit, balance and report on all cash and credit transactions including checks, deposits, house charges, promotional materials, postings etc. in the hotel in accordance with established policies and procedures
Maintain all areas of the front desk
Cover other areas of hotel as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School diploma/GED required
Previous Supervisory experience in hospitality preferred
Customer service experience required
Experience handling cash, credit card procedures, and use math concepts
Attention to detail and organized
