Mixologist

HOURLY RATE: $9.00 PLUS TIPS
The Stella Hotel & Ballroom is looking for fun, outgoing and creative people to work on our team as part time Mixologists in our restaurant, The 1844 Table & Mash, as well as our Rooftop Bar, The Crow's Nest. We offer flexible work schedules, and for those interested, cross-training in a variety of positions and the opportunity to learn the hotel industry.

As a Mixologist on our team, you will complete a variety of tasks which will include:
- Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
- Take food and drink orders and serve to customers.
- Mix traditional and creative cocktails per hotel standard drink recipes.
- Create new recipes by combining traditional knowledge with innovative ideas.
- Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences.
- Maintain a clean working area, and wash glassware and utensils.
- Process payments for customers.
- Build a rapport with customers to create a positive atmosphere.
The position is ideal for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- One to two years of previous bartending experience.
- Good personality and positive interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Dependability and regular attendance.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Food Handlers Card.
- Have a current City of Kenosha Bartender's license or willing to obtain one upon hire.
