Required Qualifications:
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Experience and Knowledge:
8 - 10 years of experience in control and instrumentation engineering.
Extensive experience in mining and processing plant environments.
Proven track record in delivering large-scale C&I projects.
Strong project management skills.
Proficiency in control system design and programming (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA systems).
Expertise in instrumentation selection, installation, and maintenance.
Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and IEEE.
Key Responsibilities: Design and Development:
Select appropriate instrumentation and control equipment based on project requirements.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Develop and review system designs, including P&IDs, control philosophies, and system architectures.
Installation and Commissioning:
Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of control systems.
Conduct site inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning.
Maintenance and Optimization:
Implement preventive maintenance programs.
Analyze performance data for improvement opportunities.
Provide technical support and training to plant operations and maintenance teams.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
