Required Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
- 8 - 10 years of experience in control and instrumentation engineering.
- Extensive experience in mining and processing plant environments.
- Proven track record in delivering large-scale C&I projects.
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in control system design and programming (e.g., PLC, DCS, SCADA systems).
- Expertise in instrumentation selection, installation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA, IEC, and IEEE.
- Select appropriate instrumentation and control equipment based on project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Develop and review system designs, including P&IDs, control philosophies, and system architectures.
- Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of control systems.
- Conduct site inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning.
- Implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Analyze performance data for improvement opportunities.
- Provide technical support and training to plant operations and maintenance teams.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety audits and incident investigations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures.
