Hospitality Hire is recruiting for our client, a truly special destination in the Karoo. Located just two hours from Cape Town along the N1, the property offers an authentic escape with 26 hotel rooms, 13 Africamps glamping tents, two restaurants and a wide range of outdoor activities.
The destination is undergoing exciting facility upgrades and introducing new guest experiences.

We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator with industry experience to help share this story and elevate the property’s market presence. This position is  based in Cape Town.
You will work closely with the executive team, contributing to marketing, sales, occupancy, revenue and overall guest experience.

Requirements

- Matric
- Relevant marketing qualifications
- Minimum three to five years marketing experience within hotels or hospitality essential
- Strong digital marketing background including social media advertising SEO and OTA management
- Valid South African ID
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Creative, organised and able to coordinate multiple partners and agencies
- Confident analysing marketing data and applying insights
- Ability to work independently, proactively and with attention to detail

Key Responsibilities

OTA Marketing

- Manage all OTA partnerships and ensure visibility across Booking dot com Expedia Airbnb and others
- Coordinate rate strategy promotions and specials
- Ensure images videos and content are updated and optimised
- Align OTA activity with social media SEO and STO partners

Social Media and Digital Marketing

- Partner with the social media agency to develop engaging and on brand content
- Suggest and approve campaigns promotions and seasonal offers
- Support creation of posts videos newsletters and digital ads
- Grow and maintain the guest and marketing database
- Coordinate design of newsletters brochures and digital materials

SEO and Online Advertising

- Collaborate with the SEO specialist on search and keyword strategy
- Monitor Google Ads Meta Ads and digital campaign performance
- Review analytics and convert insights into actionable improvements

STO and Travel Trade Marketing

- Identify and appoint suitable travel trade partners
- Strengthen relationships with travel agents and tour operators
- Host presentations site visits and agent training
- Grow packaged travel visibility and group bookings

Brand Print and Promotional Materials

- Approve all creative content and imagery for brochures signage maps menus and guest collateral
- Oversee printing distribution and brand consistency
- Arrange professional photography to showcase the destination
- Support brand refresh and design updates

Events Experiences and Business Development

- Build relationships with wedding planners event specialists DMCs and lifestyle partners
- Develop boutique experiences including wellness retreats culinary evenings wine tastings adventure groups and family activities
- Grow weddings conferences and group bookings through creative offerings

General Coordination

- Maintain and update the guest database
- Manage themed months special promotions and hotel packages
- Oversee newsletters guest communications and review responses
- Strengthen partnerships with associated brands such as coffee partners glamping partners wine estates caterers photographers and activity providers
