Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Maitre D will coordinate all front-of-house food and beverage operations. Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and knowledgeable in wines and spirits, they create memorable moments while supporting the team in providing high-quality service.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Ensure guest satisfaction and the overall quality of the customer experience
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and recognize returning guests
  • Manage the monthly inventory of wines and spirits
  • Provide hands-on support to the team with various service-related tasks to ensure smooth operations
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager
  • Present and train the team on new products (wines and spirits)
  • Develop the cocktail menu
  • Manage wine selection and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to ensure a high-quality offering

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Hotel experience is an asset
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in the restaurant industry
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in management
  • Strong knowledge of wine, cocktails, and mixology
  • Collaborative leadership style with strong managerial skills; an effective trainer focused on employee engagement
  • Professional, enthusiastic, personable, and proactive
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak hours
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
