Maintenance Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Assistant to join our dynamic team at a large city hotel in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven, with strong technical skills and a willingness to support a wide range of maintenance functions. This role involves shift work (early and late shifts), including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as per the team roster.

• Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Knowledge of carpentry, painting, and tiling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Reliable, honest, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
