The Maintenance Attendant supports the daily operation of this 45 unit lodge and cabin property. This role suits someone practical, reliable, and comfortable working with their hands in a fast paced, outdoor focused environment.

What This Job Is
You handle general maintenance tasks and minor repairs across guest rooms and public areas. We are proud to have the most beautiful landscaping and lawn in town. The Maintenance team upkeeps flowers and lawns. The work is hands on and varied, with clear priorities tied to guest comfort and safety.
What This Job Is Not
This is not specialized trade work or a desk-based role. The setting is remote. Lake Louise has limited services, and Banff is a 45-minute bus ride away.
Key Responsibilities
Complete general maintenance and repairs throughout the property
General landscaping including watering, lawn care and general landscaping.
Troubleshoot minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry issues
Support preventative maintenance programs
Respond promptly to maintenance requests affecting guest comfort or safety
Keep maintenance areas, equipment, and tools organized
Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or concerns
Assist with additional tasks to support operations as required
What We Are Looking For
Hands on maintenance or repair experience
Working knowledge of building systems. Plumbing, electrical, or carpentry experience is an asset
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License preferred
Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
Availability for weekends and holidays based on operational needs
Strong team mindset and interest in developing new skills
Living in Lake Louise
Shared staff housing is available onsite or in the village, subject to availability. Housing is affordable and designed for seasonal and longer term staff.
Lake Louise has a population of roughly 500. Life here suits people who value routine, outdoor access, and close working relationships.
