Summary:


Pay Rate:  $19.00 - $20.00 / hour

Status:  Part Time

Schedule:  Currently searching  for a minimum of 2 days per week coverage or more. Shift starts as early as 5:15A for Breakfast Restaurant Servicee.

The AM Restaurant Cook will help run the kitchen, be part of the TEAM, and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers, Leaders and guests.  This is a line level role reporting to the Assistant General Manager & General Manager of the Hotel. 


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare special meals or substitute items
  • Prepare all food for Breakfast Buffet to Hilton Brand standards, cook to order menu & daily specials as assigned by General Manager
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
  • Maintain food logs, inventories, waste, etc.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
  • Communicate effectively during busy periods.
  • Inform GM/AGM of excess food items for use in daily specials.
  • Prepare food with quality standards
  • Know the hotel grounds and services to assist guests as needed
  • Impress guests with quality and timely service, please all guests while providing Hilton quality service
  • Monitor and control maintenance/sanitation of the kitchen and equipment, inclusive of dishes, chaffers, floors, walls, stainless steel, etc
  • Use a variety of cooking methods
  • Ensure all food is prepared and presented in accordance with appropriate recipes & brand standards
  • Have a positive attitude with visitors and staff


The Line Cook is responsible for completing all necessary / required inventories on a bi-weekly & monthly basis.  

The Line Cook is required to work weekends and Holidays. 



Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years restaurant experience required
