RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests using the hotel’s pool and water slide facilities.

  • Monitor swimmer and rider activity, consistently enforcing all safety rules and guidelines.

  • Conduct routine water-chemical testing and maintain accurate records as required.

  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming pool and slide environment throughout each shift.

  • Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.

  • Assist guests with questions and promote a friendly, service-focused atmosphere.

  • Oversee the safe and efficient operation of the water slide, including managing rider flow.

  • Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, or incidents to the appropriate leaders.

  • Complete daily checklists, documentation, and opening/closing procedures with accuracy.

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid Lifeguard Certification (National Lifeguard – Pool) and current CPR-C/Standard First Aid.

  • Strong swimming ability and proven rescue capability.

  • Ability to remain attentive, calm, and focused in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional communication and guest-service skills.

  • Physically able to perform rescues and handle pool-related equipment.

  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Previous lifeguard or pool-attendant experience is considered an asset.

  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
