Laundry Supervisor

The Beverly Wilshire a Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Laundry Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do.

This position has the opportunity to shape Guest Experience by providing exceptional service in support of our world-renowned hotels. The position reports to the Laundry Manager. Work authorization for the location is required.

Responsibilities

The Laundry Supervisor assumes responsibility for laundry operation at the resort.  This will involve supervising the laundry team as needed. Our Laundry Supervisor will be actively working in the operation to facilitate the laundry flow and ensure a minimal amount of idle time to drive productivity. Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Ensures that all linen is clean, linen in circulation is sufficient, the linen closets are well stocked and the highest standards are met.
• Coordinates Preventative Maintenance schedule with Laundry Mechanic
• Plans work and production schedules to meet all departments’ requirements
• Develops and maintains a Linen Discard System ensuring all par levels are maintained
• Conducts and prepares for linen inventories for Rooms Division as well as Food and Beverage Division in liaison with Assistant Director of Housekeeping/Laundry
• Assists washperson with loading and unloading of washers, sorting of linen and ensures linen is being weighed at all times.
• Ensures daily tasks for washpersons and sorters are completed, such as cleaning of dryer filters, mopping and projects are completed as needed.

Salary: $33.52/hr
