Laundry Aide

Best Western View of Lake Powell is seeking a full-time Laundry Aide to support our commitment to providing guests with a clean and comfortable stay. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of our hotel by ensuring all linens are properly cleaned, organized, and readily available for use. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As a Laundry Aide, your responsibilities will include:

• Sorting, pre-treating, washing, drying, pressing, and folding linens according to hotel standards
• Maintaining organization of laundry supplies and linen carts
• Ensuring all laundry equipment is operating correctly and report any maintenance issues
• Upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards in the laundry area
• Responding to linen requests from hotel staff in a timely and professional manner

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

• Basic knowledge of laundry cleaning techniques and equipment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and a team player mindset
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

WHEN YOU'LL BE WORKING:

The schedule for this position includes daytime and afternoon shifts, with weekend availability required.
