What you take on:• Full responsibility for kitchen operations• Lead and develop a team with clear standards and expectations• Recruit, train and coach staff to keep turnover low• Build strong communication with front of house and other departments• Maintain training programs and company standards• Hit revenue targets by managing labour, food costs and expenses• Maintain consistent quality, flavour and presentation• Estimate food and labour needs accurately• Cook for groups, tours, a la carte and buffet service• Control waste and keep the kitchen safe• Identify training needs and follow up• Recognize strong performance• Take on other operational duties as needed
What you bring• Three years as a Chef, Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager• Strong record of food quality, consistency and cost control• Clear interest in hospitality and team leadership• Detail focused with a commitment to high standards• Hands on leadership style in a fast-paced environment
