ABOUT US:

The Staybridge Suites of Liverpool, NY is an Extended Stay Hotel serving the Greater Syracuse area. We pride ourselves on the connections we make with our long term guests while we provide them a home away from home. To create a home-like atmosphere, we provide a breakfast buffet 7 days a week and a dinner buffet 4 nights a week. We are looking for a knowledgeable and friendly kitchen attendant to add to our Operations Team!

Responsibilities:

Kitchen Attendants have the following responsibilities and duties:

• Adhere to all State, County and Local health department food handling, storage and preparation guidelines
• Prepare and replenish simple, buffet style meals in accordance with a monthly menu
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, serving area and dining area throughout service
• Greet and answer any questions from guests about the hotel and meals
• Put away deliveries while maintaining stock rotation 
• Report and return any guest properties found while rendering service
• Report cases of property damage and areas in need of repair to supervisor
• Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guest’s possessions and privacy issues

Requirements:

Kitchen Attendants should have the following skills, education and experience:

• Working knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation standards
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical strength and stamina to work extended periods
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
