Job Description

• Ensure the security, safety and high standards of care within the program at all times.
• Ensure program policies, procedures and health guidelines are being adhered to at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness at all times.
• Regularly monitor supplies, replenish from stores and let manager know before the supplies run out so that more can be ordered.
• Helps monitor the condition of the facilities and informs manager of necessary repairs or replacements.
• Immediately notify the manager of all incidents, issues, guest complaints and suggestions.
• Attend to any problems immediately and escalate to manager.
• Always maintain professional and positive relationships with work colleagues, parents and children, keeping in mind difference in backgrounds, cultures and individual personalities.
• Speak English at all times while in the work place unless speaking to a guest who speaks the same language.
• Consistently recognizes parents and children by name, always giving a great first impression to every parent, child and other staff members.
• Actively promote and encourage participation of guests and club members in activities and events.
• Oversee and assist in the delivery of the program and activities.
• Use initiate to come up with new ideas and suggestions to further improve the kids club.
• Supervise all areas ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
• Motivate and encourage staff to ensure their best performance.
