RoomIt by CWT is looking for talented Interns to broaden brand awareness and determine effectiveness of tools and campaign efforts for RoomIt by CWT.  Located in our brand new downtown Chicago office, RoomIt is the recently launched technology-driven Hotel Distribution business by Carlson Wagonlit Travel.  This is your chance to get in on the ground floor of this exciting new business and to help shape our future.


The Intern “RoomIters” will have access to meaningful development opportunities in the area of marketing, data analytics and operations. Do you have a passion for storytelling? This is a great opportunity to help shape the brand’s image.  You’ll have the chance to amplify the brand voice and propel stories and content for multiple audiences.   You will also be the point person to gather/review data on our tools and systems to make sure they are supporting our goals!

 

Main responsibilities (some or all will be applicable)

 

·         -Assist in the development of compelling content that supports our business objectives and engages our customers and suppliers

 

·         -Develop strong knowledge of the RoomIt business, products and target audiences to effectively develop communications that are relevant, contextual and timely.

 

·         -Set up marketing campaigns, including collateral for loyalty boosters

 

·         -Create marketing content in multiple formats, including blog posts, presentations, articles, white papers, case studies, tip sheets, and video

·         -Work with supplier, sales, marketing teams and internal subject matter experts to drive thought leadership messaging

·         -Ensure content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice.

·         -Review campaign results, review penetration and growth rates, effectiveness of tools and implementation

 

·         -Pulling data together to determine where we can improve some operational practices, and support the implementation of  new improvements

· 

·         -Some light travel may be involved
